Use the quadratic formula. The quadratic formula says that the roots of any quadratic equation in the form ax%5E2+%2B+bx+%2B+c+=+0 (with a,b,c real) are x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28b%5E2+-+4ac%29%29%2F2a. From here, it's just simply identifying what a,b,c are and then substitution.
