Hi
Using the vertex form of a parabola, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2+%2Bk where(h,k) is the vertex
y = 1/4(x+2)^2+6 |Vertex is Pt(-2,6), Axis of symmetry is x = -2
y = 2(x+2)(x+4)
y = 2(x^2 + 6x + 8)
y = 2[(x+3)^2 - 9 + 8]
y = 2(x+3)^2 - 2 |Vertex is Pt(-3,-2), Axis of symmetry is x = -3
