You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
What is the remainder when x^4+3x^2+1 is divided by x+1?
Dividing it out, results in: x^3- x^2 + 4x -4 Remainder = 5
Given that (x-1) is a factor find all the linear factors of x^3-6x^2+11x-6
dividing x^3-6x^2+11x-6 by (x-1)result is:
x^2 - 5x + 6
(x-3)(x- 2)
ALL linear factors of x^3-6x^2+11x-6 are:
(x-1), (x-3), and (x-2)
