Question 341782: Can you assist me with the following question?
I need to find the x-intercepts for the following equation: y=x^2+4.
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! this is a "trick" question because there are no x-intercepts ___ the graph does not cross the x-axis
in order for there to be x-intercepts , y must equal zero
___ this means that x^2 must equal -4 (or less) , there are no real numbers that you can square to get negative values
