Question 328056: Hello. I was hoping you could please help me with this problem.
I have to factor completely, and if prime, say so.
a. 40x^3 - 64x^2y
b. 13-14y + y^2
c. 9x^2- 30 + 25
I was hoping you could please show me how to factor these, because I don't know how to. Thank you so much.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! factor completely, and if prime, say so.
a. 40x^3 - 64x^2y
Factor out 8x^2
8x^2(5x - 8y)

b. 13-14y + y^2
Factor out - y
13 - y(14 - y)

c. 9x^2- 30 + 25
Factor out 3
3(x^2 - 10) + 25
