(h,k) is then the vertex.
f%28x%29=3%28x%5E2-2x%29%2B6
f%28x%29=3%28x%5E2-2x%2B1%29%2B6-3
f%28x%29=3%28x-1%29%5E2%2B3
The vertex is (1,3).
The axis of symmetry contains the vertex and is x=1.
The coefficient of x%5E2 term is positive so the parabola opens upwards and the vertex value is the minimum value.
