What type of solution do you get for quadratic equations where D<0? Give reason for the answer and give example of such an equation and find the solution.

I assume that D = discriminant in this case.
The discriminant is the expression that lies in the radicand of the quadratic formula. If the discriminant is less than 0, there are no real solutions to the quadratic equation. In that case, we say the roots of the equation are imaginary.
