Question 18500: Hello again!
I really need help with this problem. Could someone kindly help me?
The class is working with Quadratic functions and graphs – I'm supposed to solve the rational inequality. State and graph the solution set:
3/x + 2 > 2 /x -1
Thanks for all of the help. It is appreciated.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3/x + 2 > 2/x - 1
3/x - 2/x > -1 -2
(3-2)/x > -3
1/x > -3
dividing by -3 we get,
-1/3x < 1 [division of inequality by negative number reverses sign]
-1/3 < x
x > -1/3
