accounts for the given perimeter

I'll do the first problem to get you started.
w = width
w+14 = length
2*(width + length) = perimeter of the rectangle
2*(w + w+14) = 84
2*(2w+14) = 84
4w+28 = 84
4w = 84-28
4w = 56
w = 56/4
w =
14 is the width
w+14 = 14+14 =
28 is the length
Check
perimeter = 2*(width + length)
perimeter = 2*(14 + 28)
perimeter = 2*(42)
perimeter = 84
