Question 116895: I am in an online math class and have an ebook. I have tried to figure this out by using the animated help, video help, and the step by step but I still cant figure it out because I can not figure out how the step by step goes from one step to the next.
The problem is- f(x)=1/7x^2
It tells me to find the vertex and the equation of the line of symmetry. Then to graph the function.
Please assist me with this

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
IF YOUR FUNCTION IS
F(X)=(1/7)X^2 THEN:
SET THIS FUNCTION TO Y & GRAPH THUS:
Y=X^2/7
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+y+=+x%5E2%2F7%29+ (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = x^2/7).
THE VERTEX IS(0,0)
THE LINE OF SYMMETRY IS (X=0)
