You can put this solution on YOUR website!

2sqrt%28x%29=x-8
x-8=2sqrt%28x%29
highlight_green%28x-2sqrt%28x%29-8=0%29----this is in quadratic form. It is also solvable by factoring.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2sqrt%28x%29=%28x-8%29
square both sides
4x=%28x-8%29%5E2
4x=x%5E2-16x%2B64

x%5E2-20x%2B64=0

x%5E2-16x-4x%2B64=0

x%28x-16%29-4%28x-16%29=0
(x-16)(x-4)=0
