You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the squares if two numbers is 5/18 and the sum of 6 times the smaller number and 4 times the larger number is 3. What are the numbers??

A lot of nasty math here, use the graphing method
x^2 + y^2 = 5%2F18
y = sqrt%285%2F18+-+x%5E2%29
and
4y + 6x = 3
4y = 3 - 6x
y = 3%2F4 - 3%2F2x
Graph these two equations
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-1%2C+1%2C+-1%2C+1%2C+sqrt%28%285%2F18%29-x%5E2%29%2C+.75+-+1.5x%29+
intersects at x = 1%2F6 y = 1%2F2
