I am having a lot of trouble with graphing quadratic functions. Such as x squared + 4x - 8, what are good ways to find points besides finding the axis of symmetry and the y-vertex. My main trouble is finding a something good that works to substitute into.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Pick random integers to substitute for x...the x-coordinate of the vertex is at x = 2, so integers around 2 should work.
