Let x+3 - be first number
x - be second number
Then interpret,
49+%2B+%28x%2B3%29%28x%29=89
49%2Bx%5E2%2B3x=89
x%5E2%2B3x-40=0
%28x-5%29%28x%2B8%29
So it's either,
x-5=0
x=5

or,
x+8=0
x=-8
Try substituting :)
If x=5
x+5 = 8
x = 5
If x=-8
x+5 = -3
x=-8
49 + (8)(3)=89
49 + (-8)(-3)=89
