You can see that the 1st 3 terms are in the form of a^2 - 2ab + b^2, which is
(a - b)^2
So it can be first written as

Now this is of the form a^2 - b^2, which is (a+b)*(a-b)

%28x+-+4%2Ay%29%5E2+-+5%5E2 =
%28x+-+4%2Ay+%2B5%29%2A%28x+-+4%2Ay+-+5%29 which is the final factorization.
