x%5E2-5x-6=0 This quadratic has factors. We'll rewrite it:
x%5E2-6x%2Bx-6=0 and
x%28x-6%29%2B%28x-6%29=0 which equals:
%28x-6%29%28x%2B1%29=0
x=6
and
x=-1
