Question 638858: I'm doing a math final and I neeeed someone's help ASAP!! Does (-2,3) lie on the graph 2x-4y=14? prove it please!!! Found 2 solutions by Tatiana_Stebko, graphmatics:Answer by Tatiana_Stebko(1539) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The point (-2,3) is a (x,y) point. Check 2x-4y=14 to see weather x=-2 yeilds y=3:
2*-2-4y=14
-4y=18
y=-4,5
So (-2,3) is NOT a point on the line.
