You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve:
Square Root of (x+3) = 2x
only (x+3) is under the Square Root
Thank you for your help!

sqrt%28x+%2B+3%29+=+2x

%28sqrt%28x+%2B+3%29%29%5E2+=+%282x%29%5E2------ Squaring both sides

x+%2B+3+=+4x%5E2

4x%5E2+-+x+-+3+=+0

4x%5E2+-+4x+%2B+3x+-+3+=+0

4x%28x+-+1%29+%2B+3%28x+-+1%29+=+0

(4x + 3)(x - 1) = 0
4x + 3 = 0 or x - 1 = 0

4x = - 3 or x = 0 + 1

x+=+-+3%2F4 or x+=+1

However, substituting x+=+-+3%2F4 gives us an EXTRANEOUS solution, so the only solution is highlight_green%28x+=+1%29
