You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need some help to find the y-intercept, the x intercepts, the turning point and sketch this equation:
To find the y intercept, let x=0 and solve for y.

The y-intercept is (0,6)
:
To find the x-intercept, let y=0 and factor and solve for x.

x-1=0 and -x-6=0
x-1+1=0+1 and -x-6+6=0+6
x=1 and -x=6
x=1 and x=-6
The x-intercepts are (1,0) and (-6,0)
:
To find the turning point or vertex use the formula
a=-1, b=-5 (and c=6, but you don't need it for this)

Substitute that in for x and find the y coordinate.

LCD=4

The turning point is (-5/2, 49/4)

Happy Calculating!!!
