You can put this solution on YOUR website! i have to find the coordinates of the vertex of y=6x^2+2x+4
Find the x coordinate first by using the formula x=-b/2a and then substitute that value fo x in the original equation, then solve for the y coordinate.
y=ax^2+bx+c ===> y=6x^2+2x+4
a=6,b=2,c=4
x=-b/2a==>-(2)/(2(6))=-2/12=-1/6
x cordinate is -1/6
y(-1/6)=6(-1/6)^2+2(-1/6)+4
y=23/6
Vertex coordinate is (-1/6,23/6)
