Not sure if I am doing this right, but so far I have
3x^2-6x-3=0...OK
x^2-3x-1=0...DIVIDING WITH 3 WE GET X^2-2X-1=0...COMPARING WITH STD EQN.
AX^2+BX+C=0.....WE HAVE A=1,B=-2,C=-1
