Question 5908: If the slope of a line is 2 and it's y-intercept is 5, what is the equation of the line? I have already tried this question on a test and gotten it wrong, can someone help me figure it out? Please? Answer by Abbey(339) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! y=2x+5
always use the slope intercept form (y=mx+b) for the equation, then just plug in the slope for m, and the y-intercept for b.
