You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From 3x%5E2%2Bx%2B2 we can see that a=3, b=1, and c=2

D=b%5E2-4ac Start with the discriminant formula.

D=%281%29%5E2-4%283%29%282%29 Plug in a=3, b=1, and c=2

D=1-4%283%29%282%29 Square 1 to get 1

D=1-24 Multiply 4%283%29%282%29 to get %2812%29%282%29=24

D=-23 Subtract 24 from 1 to get -23

So the discriminant is D=-23

Since the discriminant is less than zero, this means that there are two complex solutions.

In other words, there are no real solutions.
