You can put this solution on YOUR website! You need to choose between two telephone plans for local calls. plan a charges $25 per month for unlimited calls. plan b has a monthly fee of $13 with a charge of $0.06 per local call. how many local telephone calles in a month make plan a the better deal??
------------
Let "x" be the number of local calls.
Plan A: will cost $25 per month
Plan B: will cost $(13 + 0.06x)
When is Plan B a better deal??
When Plan B cost is less than Plan A cost.
13+0.06x < 25
0.06x < 12
x < 200
So, as long as the number of local calls in a month
is less than 200, Plan B will be a better Plan.
