Question 49773: I can find no solution to this question, and so I am hoping you can show me where I went wrong.
Equation: If f(x)=x^2+2x-1, find f(-2)
this is what I did: (-2)x^2+2x-1=0
2^2+4(0)(-1)=4 there is no solution. so I figure I have to have done something wrong. Please help.
thankyou

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=x^2+2x-1, find f(-2)
f(-2)=(-2)^2+2(-2)-1
=4-4-1
=-1
