You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
Using the vertex form of a parabola, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2+%2Bk where(h,k) is the vertex
y=x(x+2) |Putting into vertex form
y=x^2 + 2x |Completing the square
y = (x+1)^2 - 1 |Vertex is (-1,-1) and Line of symmetry is x = -1
