You can put this solution on YOUR website!
7a^2b - 28ab^2 + 49a^2b^2

The common factor consists of all factors that divide evenly into each term. In this case the common factor is 7ab.

7ab(a - 4b + 7ab)

I have a complete explanation on FACTORING on my website. To find my website click on my tutor name "rapaljer" anywhere in algebra.com. There you will find a link to take you to my website. On the Homepage of my website, look for the link near the top of the page "Basic, Intermediate, and College Algebra: One Step at a Time." Next, click on "Basic Algebra", then look in Chapter 2, and look for several sections on factoring, especially Section 2.03 Factoring the Common Factor."

I also have a VIDEO of me teaching this topic. To find the videos on this and also on other important topics, look on my Homepage for the link "Rapalje Videos in Living Color." The videos are ALL FREE, like everything else on my website! I'm not even selling anything! It's all free, and it was written and explained in a way that should be easier than your own expensive textbooks!!

See also the MATH IN LIVING COLOR pages that go with most of the sections that I have posted for you in either Basic, Intermediate, and College Algebra. If you like the website, please recommend it to your friends and family. Almost everyone knows someone who needs help with math!! I have so much on my website, and it's all FREE!!!
