-x^2 - 4x ≥ 4
let's subtract 4, then multiply both sides by -1, reversing the sign...
-x^2 - 4x - 4 ≥ 0
x^2 + 4x + 4 ≤ 0
now factor
(x + 2)^2 ≤ 0
Now notice that anything squared must be at the very least, equal to zero, and cannot be less than zero...so the only point that works is when x + 2 = 0, or
x = -2
