You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the quadratic formula to find all roots: f(x)= 2x^3-3x^2-2x+3
:
Assume one factor is (x+1)
:
use synthetic division
: __________________
-1|2 -3 -2 + 3
>>>>>-2 + 5 - 3
--------------
>>>2 -5 + 3 + 0
Now we have (2x^2 - 5x + 3)(x+1)
You can use the quadratic formula to find the other roots
Anyway it will factor to (2x - 3)(x - 1)
:
The three roots, -1, +1, 1.5
