You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
Let's first expand this out. 4p(p-1) - 24 = 3p(p-2)
4p^2-4p-24 = 3p^2-6p
Subtract 3p^2 and add 6p to both sides to get:
p^2+2p-24=0
Now we can factor this to get:
(p+6)(p-4)=0
Solve for p and we get:
p=-6
p=4
Make sense?
