Question 365523: What is the vertex of f(x)=x^2-4, and how did you figure it out?
Thank you so much for your help!
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! the general vertex form of the equation is ___ f(x) = a(x - h)^2 + k
"a" is the coefficient of the second order (squared) term , and (h,k) is the vertex
fitting your equation to the general form ___ f(x) = 1(x - 0)^2 + (-4)
