You can put this solution on YOUR website! Normally, you SOLVE a quadratic equation, like x^2-5x+4=0.
You GRAPH a quadratic function, like y=x^2 - 5x + 4.
Some quadratic equations can be solved by factoring. In the case of x^2-5x+4=0
it factors into (x-4)(x-1)=0, and there are two solutions: x=4 and x=1.
