Question 304739: Sir, i have a query about the representation of a quadratic equation of the form y^2=4ax, to be represented as parabola with the origin at (0,0).Well, the actual equation was S=ut+(1/2)a(t^2), one of the equations of motion.
I have tried solving it, but i cannot enclose a diagram here. I know how to derive the formula y^2=4ax mathematically, but i need help on how to derive it from the equation of motion stated above.
THANK YOU, AND PLEASE HELP.. I NEED THIS BY MONDAY, 17/05/2010.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
s = vt + (at^2)/2
What do you want to solve for?
