-b/2a or -b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4 multiplied by a and c over 2a or h=-16t squared plus vt plus s. This is one of the problems
on my worksheet 10x squared minus 6x -1 =0

a=10 b=-6 c=-1
The roots of the equation are x1 & x2
x1 = -(-6) + sqrt(-6*-6 -4*10*-1) / 2*10
x1= 6+ sqrt(36+40) /20
x1= 6 +sqrt(76) / 20
x1=0.735
x2=6 -sqrt(76) / 20
x2= -0.135
