You can put this solution on YOUR website!
LEt the hieght be x
Let the base be x-4
Area = 96
Formula = (base*height)/2

%28%28x-4%29%28x%29%29%2F2=96
%28x%5E2-4x%29%2F2=96
Remove the fraction my multiplying the eqaution by 2
x%5E2-4x=192
x%5E2-4x-192=0%2Cx
Factor: (x+12) and (x-16)
x=-12 and x=16

Remove the negative
16-4=12

Hence, the height is 16cm and the base is 12cm.
