Hint: Let z=x%5E2 and notice that z%5E2=x%5E4. Apply the appropriate substitutions to get 10z%5E2-27z%2B5=0. Solve this equation using the quadratic formula to get two solutions in terms of 'z'. Use each solution to find two solutions (per solution of 'z') in terms of 'x'. In total, you should get 4 solutions in terms of 'x'.
