You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you didn't give very much information on what you needed so I can only give you a little information in return. you didn't give me the function....
so let me just give you some of the rules of this type of equation, ok?
first.
the graph of a quadratic function is called a parabola. it is "U" shaped and can open upwards or downwards. the formula for a quadratic function is f(x)= ax^2+bx+c. a, b, and c are real numbers and a is not = 0. ok?
all parabolas are symmetric to a line called the axis of symmetry. The point at which the axis intersect the parabola is the vertex of the parabola. If the leading co-efficient is positive (the number that is represented by "a" in the formula) the parabola opens upward, if it is negative the graph opens downward.
The simplest type of quadratic function is f(x)=ax^2. Its graph is a parabola whose vertex is (o,o). If a>0 the vertex is the minumum point on the graph, and if a<0 the vertex is the maximum point on the graph. this means the tip of the "u". The middle of the "U" shape is the minimum and maximum depending on whether it opens upward (minimum) or downward(maximum)
I really can't help you if I don't have an equation you are working on.
