You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The graph is the same as y=x^2 apart from the minus which has the effect of inverting (turning upside down) the graph). Does that help?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y= -x^2
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+y+=+-%28x%29%5E2%29+ (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = -(x)^2).
Substitute various values for x & solve this equation for y
If x=-2 the:
y=-(-2)^2
y=-4 (-2,-4
x=2 then:
y=-(2)^2
y=-4 (2,-4)
