You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How can I figure out my a,b,and c values from the following expression?
.850=[(x)/(1-x)(2-x)]
.850=%28%28x%29%2F%281-x%29%282-x%29%29 first lets distribute
.850=%28%28x%29%2F%282-2x-x-x%5E2%29%29
.850=%28%28x%29%2F%282-3x-x%5E2%29%29 now lets cross multiply
.85%282-3x-x%5E2%29=x
1.7-2.55x%2B.85x%5E2=x
1.7-1.55x%2B.85x%5E2=0
so a=.85 b=-1.55 and c=1.7
