Step 1. Multiply by 2w to both sides of equation get rid of denominators

2w%2A%284%2Fw-1%29=2w%2A%287%2F2w%2B5%29

8-2w=7%2B10w

Step 2. Add 2w-7 to both sides to get w-terms on the right side and numbers on the left side.

8-2w%2B2w-7=7%2B10w%2B2w-7

1=12w

Step 3. Divide 12 on both sides of the equation to solve for w.

1%2F12=12w%2F12

1%2F12=w

w=1%2F12

Step 4. ANSWER. w=1%2F12
