I'm a first year student, who has been out of school for 30 years, and I'm having a hard time with this. This is a bonus question for my next test, and I need all the help I can get! Can you please help me?

x=0 or x=-2 Start with the given solutions


x=0 or x%2B2=0 Get all the non-zero values to the left side


x%28x%2B2%29=0 Combine the two equations (using the zero product property)


x%5E2%2B2x=0 Distribute


So the quadratic equation is y=x%5E2%2B2x
