You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2 - 2/3x- 1/6=0

answer: x= - 1/6 or 1/2
:
multiply all terms by 6 to get rid of fractions
:
12x^2-4x-1=0
:
now use reverse FOIL where you use x%5E2 and constant coefficients to make up the factors
:
we know the answers so it makes it a little easier
:
we know on term will have 6x and the other 2x
:
%286x%2B1%29%282x-1%29=0
:
6x+1=0
:
6x=-1
:
x=-1/6
:
2x-1=0
:
2x=1
:
x=1/2
