Find the factors for each variable in each expression.
For those factors that are common, find the one that is 'used the most' in the expression.
Then multipky those 'most used' items together.
12t%5E2z%5E6 has factors, 2,2,3 t^2 and z^6
4t%5E6w%5E4z has factors 2,2 t^6 w^4 z
Both have the same amount of 2s in them (2*2)
One has a 3
Both have ts, but one has t^6. Which is more uses of t than t^2. So use t^6
One has w^4
Both have z, but one has z^6. (more uses of z than just plain old z).
So we have a least common multiple of
