Question 155612: plot points of y=-6
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Simply let "x" be any number (since "x" isn't even listed), but y must be equal to -6.
So we could have the points (-5,-6), (-4,-6), (-3,-6), (-2,-6), (-1,-6), (0,-6), (1,-6), (2,-6), (3,-6), (4,-6), (5,-6). Notice how these points have the y-coordinate of -6
Now plot these points:
Now draw a line through all of these points to graph (notice how it's a horizontal line)
Graph of through the given points.
