Step 1: Change the inequality sign to an equal sign and graph the line just like you would do for any other equation in two variables. Since you have an inequality that does not include 'or equal to' make your line a dashed line. Had your inequality been 5y-6x%3E=30, then you would make a solid line.

Step 2: Pick a point that is NOT on the line. Since this line does not pass through the origin, (0,0) is a perfect point to choose. Substitute the x- and y-coordinates of the point you chose into the original inequality. If doing that results in a true statement, shade in the entire half-plane on the same side of the line containing the point you selected. If it results in a false statement, shade in the other side. Your solution set is the set of all points in the shaded area, and since the line is dashed, it does not include points on the line.
