No! All quadratic equations are not factorable. When they are not factorable, theay are called prime. Examples:
5x%5E2%2B2x-3+=+0 This is factorable!
%285x-3%29%28x%2B1%29+=+0
5x%5E2-2x%2B3+=+0 This is prime!
However, all quadratic equations can be solved by:
a) Using the quadratic formula:x+=+%28-b%2B-sqrt%28b%5E2-4ac%29%29%2F2a
b) Using the "completing-the-square" method.
