How do you write and the f(x)=(x+5)(2x-9) equation in to standard form?
------------
Use FOIL to get:
y = 2x^2-18x+10x-45
y = 2x^2-8x-45

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Standard form is f%28x%29=ax%5E2%2Bbx%2Bc. So, apply FOIL to your two binomials.

f%28x%29=%28x%2B5%29%282x-9%29=2x%5E2%2Bx-45

That's all there is to it.

Hope that helps,
John
