Question 1073899: Solve by using the quadratic formula:
+4x%5E2%2B1=8x+
Here's my work:
a= 4
b= -8
c= 1
-(-8) +/- sqrt((-8)^2-4(4)(1)/8
8 +/- sqrt(48)/8
I don't know what to do after that
Thanks!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Solve by using the quadratic formula:

+4x%5E2%2B1 = 8x+

Here's my work:
a= 4                                           correct
b= -8                                          correct
c= 1                                           correct

 -(-8) +/- sqrt((-8)^2-4(4)(1)/8               You missed one parenthesis  -(-8) +/- sqrt((-8)^2-4(4)(1))/8

 8 +/- sqrt(48)/8                              correct

I don't know what to do after that             = %288+%2B-+sqrt%2816%2A3%29%29%2F8 = %288+%2B-+4sqrt%283%29%29%2F8 = 1+%2B-+%281%2F2%29%2Asqrt%283%29.  It is your final answer.

Thanks!!!                                      Please.
