s(t) = -16t^2 + 1600x

You have a quadratic with a = -16 and b = 1600

Maximum height occurs when t = -b/2a = -1600/(-32) = 50 seconds

Height at that time is s(50):
s(50) = -16(50^2) + 1600(50) = 40,000 ft.
