Question 83654: I am having trouble with this homeowrk question which states: Solve 2x^2-8x+1=0 by completing the square. So far I have 1/2(2x^2-8x)=1/2(-1)
x^2-4x=-1/2
What now?!? Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! take half of the coefficient of the x term, square it, and add (to both sides) ... then factor, and take square root
